100 Central Park South
Trump Parc East
Built in 1930, this fourteen story apartment structure has been converted into a complete and elegant condominium building by Donald Trump since 1997 with 81 units all ready for occupancy. The building is adjacent to another, albeit taller, condominium building named the Trump Parc and both are designed in the same architectural manner, however Trump Parc East has a more modest yet elegant appearance. Visually, they read as the same building but the structure itself extends from 58th Street to the Northeast corner of Sixth Avenue and the entrance is situated in the Central Parc South. The most beautiful part of the structure is its bulging roof, similar to that which Lower Broadways’ Singer Building used to have. After being redesigned after World War II, it dons one of Manhattan’s most spectacular designs, with the top pillars extending unevenly, displaying an uneven yet impressive row of teeth. With heavy traffic flowing, the entrance to this building is northbound, making this location ideal in convenience and it’s extremely close proximity to Central Park and its sweeping views.
